3402748454Mek Gıda is a Turkish manufacturer of bakery, pastry, and chocolate ingredients, founded in 1997 and headquartered in Malatya. The company exports to over 65 countries under brands such as BlueBead, Pelikan, and EasyBake. For SIGEP World 2026 in Rimini, Mek Gıda entrusted VM Live with the design and construction of its exhibition stand.
VM Live managed the entire exhibition stand project, from design to installation. The objective was to translate the brand’s values into a contemporary exhibition space capable of showcasing the quality of products developed for desserts and professional pastry making to an international audience of industry professionals.
The project features a clean and distinctive architectural design, characterized by balanced volumes, a color palette consistent with the company’s brand identity, and glossy white square-tile flooring that creates a bright and spacious atmosphere. Brand visibility is ensured by a 4-meter-high freestanding perimeter structure, consisting of four wooden beams and four wooden columns with a painted finish. This structure defines the stand’s boundaries without enclosing the space, while providing dedicated surfaces for displaying the company logos.
The functional centerpiece is the angular chef’s counter, designed specifically for live demonstrations. Its corner configuration allows the chef to engage with visitors on two sides while leaving the remaining space available for seating. Behind the counter, two decorative wall panels on the rear wall feature 150 x 150 cm backlit graphics, creating a striking visual backdrop for the exhibition stand.
For an ingredient manufacturer, the challenge lies in the fact that the products themselves are not particularly visually striking: sugar pastes, filling creams, and glazes are best showcased through the creations they make possible. The stand design therefore placed live demonstrations at the heart of the exhibition experience, positioning the chef’s counter as the focal point and using backlit graphics to showcase finished products in large format.
The freestanding perimeter structure addresses a different challenge: spatial perception. With an 11-meter-long rear wall, the exhibition space could easily resemble a corridor without architectural elements to create visual rhythm. The wooden beams and columns form a framework that adds depth, positions the company logos at an optimal height for long-distance visibility, and visually defines the different functional areas without the need for partition walls.

Mek Gıda exports to more than 65 countries and meets industry professionals from a wide range of international markets at SIGEP. An exhibition stand designed for a diverse audience cannot rely on text alone: it must communicate effectively through visuals and intuitive visitor pathways. This led to the use of large-format backlit graphics, a spacious reception area with seating, and brand signage consisting of company logos displayed on both the front and side beams to ensure visibility from all directions of visitor traffic.
VM Live’s other exhibition stands at the same edition of SIGEP address different exhibition challenges: live machinery demonstrations for Bilait, a striking visual identity for Gran Sicily, and the integration of three brands within a shared exhibition stand.
