Romadent is among the dental sector companies that VM Live accompanied to Expodental Meeting 2025 in Rimini. On a 16 sq m exhibition stand, VM Live managed design, construction, and assembly, with a precise design choice: prioritizing the meeting area.
On an equal footprint with the other stands managed at the same trade fair — 16 sq m, 4 x 4 meters — this project distributes space differently. The display is concentrated and vertical, while the largest part of the area is dedicated to commercial engagement: eight stools and two single-leg high tables, double the seating capacity compared to neighboring stands. A choice that reflects an approach to working at a trade fair based on extended meetings with visitors.
Greeting visitors is entrusted to a 200 cm bespoke corner desk: the angled geometry occupies a corner that would otherwise be underutilized and allows reception staff visibility across both open fronts of the exhibition stand. Product display is handled by two 50 x 50 x 50 cm plexiglass showcases, which protect the items while keeping them visible at 360 degrees.
The flooring is the third defining element: the cable-routing platform is covered with glossy white tiles, a surface that reflects spotlight illumination and brightens the entire environment, consistent with the clean design language that the dental sector associates with its brand image.
In a 16 sqm exhibition stand, floor space has to be shared between two competing needs: square meters for product display and square meters for seating. There is no one-size-fits-all answer: the right layout depends on how your company works at trade shows. If you rely on foot traffic and instant visual impact, prioritize display units. If you work on appointments and longer negotiations, you need seating.
For Romadent, we chose the second approach. Plexiglass display cases solve the product showcase in a very compact way: they take up just half a square meter and show the product from every angle, freeing up the space needed for eight seats. The corner desk completes the design by making use of a corner that a straight desk would have left unused.

Expodental 2025 is a great example of how three exhibition stands of the same size can be completely different projects. Dental Dealer focused on an illuminated display shelf, Erkodent on natural exposed wood and material safety, and Romadent on the capacity of its meeting area. All three stands were built in VM Live’s in-house carpentry workshop and installed at the same trade show.
At the same show, VM Live also designed and built the Dental Dealer and Erkodent stands.
